TripSync Known Issues
This is the part of the site where we 'fess up' to some bothersome glitches
we've noticed in TripSync. This list will become shorter, as we work diligently
to resolve these issues over some very short release cycles.
If you are aware of problems not in this list, please let us know.
- Copy/pasting a credit card that is already masked will not save. An alert is given to the user.
- Seatmaps do not work for all Airlines. This is a limitation of the reservation system we are using and will be solved shortly.
- Internet Explorer 6 users must have JavaScript enabled or the Login Screen will not render properly.
- The IE and Outlook Plug-ins have the same file name -- saving one to the same location on your computer will over-write the other. WORKAROUND: you may manually change the filename in the download dialog, or change the location you are downloading to.
- Double-clicking a search button on slower connections/computers can cause JavaScript errors (i.e. clicking on the calendar or search button).
- The frequent flyer number for Southwest Airlines is rejected. Southwest has informed us that only they can add frequent flyer numbers to a reservation.
- A user may be required to say yes to the nonsecure items dialog box when viewing maps.
Using a National Car Rental ID number may cause the car booking to fail.
- Clicking on the 'Register now' link on the Flash animation on the TripSync home page does not launch the registration page. This is only a problem from within Firefox.
- Changing your browser's default font size may cause misalignment of some controls in TripSync.
- The following airlines cannot currently be booked in TripSync: Southwest, Jet Blue, AirTran, ATA Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Virgin America, and WestJet.
